Hello Jennifer. Welcome back to planDisney! I love to see questions from fellow New Jersey residents pop up.
Ah,
Steakhouse 71. As an almost vegetarian, even I enjoy this place. And I especially love the
lunch offerings here, most notably the Gourmet Grilled Cheese. But everyone raves about the Stack Burger! And while the food is great, I absolutely adore the decor of this restaurant. It's a tribute to the opening year of the
Walt Disney World Resort and the development leading up to it. You could spend a whole bunch of time just taking in all the photographs in the space leading up to the restaurant. Such nostalgia!
I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who informed me that the
Steakhouse Cuts are typically included in the
Disney Dining Plan. However, policies and offerings are always subject to change, so you'll want to confirm this with your server when you arrive.
Did you know
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts on August 9, 2024? That's right, you can get a headstart on your trick-or-treating in the middle of August! You'll want to check to see if a party is being offered when you are there as this is a standout event at
Magic Kingdom Park. The entertainment is top-notch, the trick-or-treating is endless, and the character experiences are superb! Where else can you meet Ariel and Prince Eric together? And oh yeah, there's usually Jack and Sally from
The Nightmare Before Christmas and all of the Seven Dwarfs. Just keep in mind that offerings can change so you'll want to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog and look at the guide map at the party when you arrive. Speaking of the Disney Parks Blog, they already gave us
a sneak peek of 5 new offerings at the party this year. So exciting!
Jennifer, enjoy those steakhouse cuts and the rest of your August visit. If you have any other questions,
I'm happy to answer them for you!
In this town we call home, everyone hail to the pumpkin song,
Matt
