Hi Fred,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and than you for asking us an excellent question! I say that it’s excellent because I’ve asked around and people seem to be well and truly stumped about the answer.
Usually, if a restaurant accepts the
Disney Dining Plan, there are very few limitations, other than those involving more “adult” beverages and sides or enhancements that involve an uncharge (such as adding a lobster tail to your meal). Indeed, when
Yachtsman Steakhouse offered waygu steaks a few years ago, from what I understand, they were included as part of the Disney Dining Plan. That being said, those entrees were far less pricey than the current incarnation of the waygu filet on the Yachtsman’s menu!
Even if those particular steaks aren’t included as part of your options with the Disney Dining Plan, I still find that you can’t beat the value and quality of a meal at Yachtsman Steakhouse. It’s one of the few
Signature Dining Restaurants that really maximizes the value of the two table-service entitlements that you’ll be using to dine there. I would recommend dining there anyway, and asking your server whether those steaks are included with your Disney Dining Plan. Even if they aren’t, I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful meal.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
