    I know if you eat earlier in the evening at California Grill you can come back and watch the fireworks outside in their viewing area. But we have reservations about an hour after the fireworks. Can we check in early and go out to watch the fireworks before

    Hello Trapper! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Dining at California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort in time to watch the Happily Ever After Fireworks Spectacular is an amazing combination. They even pipe-in the audio from Magic Kingdom for you to enjoy the full experience.

    As far as Checking-In early, Cast Members know that experiencing the Happily Ever After Fireworks Spectacular is a major motivation for Guests obtaining Advanced Dining Reservations at California Grill. While you can Check-In early, you may still be required to wait for your table until the time of your Advanced Dining Reservations.

    I recommend that you Check-In early at the California Grill kiosk at Disney's Contemporary Resort and request to get a few drinks up at the California Grill Lounge while waiting for your table. When the Happily Ever After Fireworks Spectacular begins, you'll be granted access to the viewing balcony with your drinks to enjoy the experience.
