Welcome back, Cortney, to planDisney! Let’s wave the Fairy Godmother’s wand and bibbidi-bobbidi-boo our way to the answer to your question.
The Walt Disney World Resort website currently states that reservations for
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park go live at 6 a.m. EST, 60 days before the date you'd like your child to experience it, or 60 days before your arrival date if you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. However, Guests, including myself, have noticed that these reservations have actually become available when Cinderella's coach turns back into a pumpkin at 12 a.m. EST. So be ready when the clock strikes midnight, when your booking window opens, because just like Cinderella’s coach making that transition, the magic can happen right on the stroke of twelve. And if it doesn’t, a little beauty sleep before trying again at 6 a.m. might be the next best plan. Typically, the first appointments available are for the opening time listed on the site for the day you're looking to visit. So if Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique opens at 8 a.m., the first appointment is typically at that time. If available, that's perfect for starting the day with a little fairy-tale magic.
Now, is it a requirement to visit princesses around
Magic Kingdom Park after your child has had a makeover by one of the Fairy Godmother's Apprentices? Of course not. But for me, I think a visit to
Cinderella's Royal Table is in order. And if dining with royalty isn't on your fairytale list, there are plenty of meet-and-greets around the park. After all, if they've been transformed into royalty for the day, I feel they need to make a royal appearance or two.
My favorite is Princess Fairytale Hall, where Tiana, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and a visiting princess are typically available to visit. Oh, and you might as well pay a visit to Belle at her cottage in
Enchanted Tales with Belle and hang out with my favorite, Ariel, at
her grotto. I mean, who else is going to look at her treasures and tell her they're neat? Or that her collection is almost complete?
Cortney, I hope the clock strikes in your favor, and you're able to secure that coveted reservation. If you have any other questions,
I'm always happy to help!
Until the clock strikes midnight,
Matt
