Do you know when and how much the DVC cabins will be? Also how close to fort wilderness will they be? We usually stay at the older and original FW cabins. I heard they revamped the kitchen. Will I still be able to make breakfast and dinner for my fam?

    Hi Karen,

It sounds like you are just as excited as I am about the upcoming opening this July of the newest Disney Vacation Club Resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. From the sneak peaks shown on the Disney Parks Blog, it appears these impressive new accommodations within the Disney Vacation Club portfolio will contain a mix of rustic charm and modern touches. These spacious "home-away-from-home" style accommodations are perfect for larger families or those wishing to have all the amenities of home while traveling, including a full kitchen.

Karen, if you are interested in making a cash reservation, you can consult the online reservations website anytime to check on availability and determine specific rates for the Cabins depending upon what time of year you wish to stay.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is located approximately one mile from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Guests are able to travel between the two Resorts either by foot on a nature trail path, by boat, or by bus.

Karen, you also wanted information about the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I am pleased to confirm that the Cabins now contain a full refrigerator, two burners, a new combined convection/microwave oven, and a dishwasher. You should therefore have no trouble making breakfast and dinner during your stay!

Whichever Resort accommodations you choose, wishing you a wonderful Disney vacation!
