Hi, Chelsea! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
Yes, D Street in the Downtown Disney District closed early this year and has been replaced with Disney Home (a store I just happen to ADORE!). To my knowledge, the D-Tech On Demand phone case kiosk wasn’t relocated, unfortunately. However, there is a different D-Tech On Demand kiosk located inside
Star Wars Launch Bay in Disneyland Park. I do believe that it might only offer Star Wars-themed designs, though.
If you had a different style in mind, I suggest checking out the Shop Disney Parks app or
www.ShopDisney.com. The app has over 80 results when I search for a smartphone case with everything from Disney princesses and Mickey and Minnie to Star Wars and Haunted Mansion designs. There is also usually a good selection of phone cases in the various shops in the parks and the Downtown Disney District.
While we are on the subject of smartphone accessories, have you ever tried the Fuel Rod battery chargers available in the parks? There are Fuel Rod kiosks at certain shops where you can pay a one-time fee for a Fuel Rod that will charge a variety of mobile devices. When the Fuel Rod runs out of juice, simply return to the kiosk and swap out your used Fuel Rod for a fully charged one for no additional cost! It’s a super convenient way to ensure you never run out of battery power while you are at the parks.
I hope you have a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort!
