Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Joana. Are you getting so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation? I bet you are, you are going to have so much fun!
Joana, dropping off a Guest at the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks is pretty easy and I've done it several times. When you arrive at the parking attendant booths, where you would typically pay to park, you are going to let the Cast Member know that you are there to drop off a Guest. They are going to give you directions on which way to go to get to that area. Typically, at the theme parks, Guest drop-off is going to be the far right lane. There will also be signs directing you on where to go. Follow those signs until you get to the Guest drop-off area. Then, you'll follow the signs to exit the parking area and you'll be on your way. It's really very easy. When you go to pick up somebody you'll just kind of follow the same pattern. You'll tell the Cast Member that you are there to pick someone up and you'll be directed to the drop-off and pick-up area. Then, after you've picked up your people, you'll follow signs to leave the parking lot again. Dropping off and picking up a Guest is complimentary and you will not be charged anything for entering either time.
If you'd like to drop someone off and then go park yourself, you can do this as well. You'll do the dropping off the same and then exit the theme park parking area. Then, you'll circle back around to the line and instead of saying you are dropping someone off, you'll pay to park. Then you'll go to a different area of the parking lot, park and then you can make your way up to the theme park entrance too.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. Have a great day!
