Hi ya, Donald!
Thank you so much for bringing your question to us here at planDisney, we’re happy to help!
Disney Parks are committed to doing their part in conservation efforts, including
eliminating plastic straws and other single-use plastics wherever possible. That being said,
Disneyland Resort park rules include a few items that are prohibited and reusable straws are not included in that list! I personally prefer to use a straw so I actually bring a reusable one with me to both the
Disneyland Resort and
Walt Disney World Resort. You are more than welcome to ask any dining location for a paper straw, but if you rather bring on with you, go ahead!
I do usually bring my stainless steel straw with me because it’s easier for me to wash out after each use. Plus, the one I have is collapsible! For my little Mouseketeers, I just pack a plastic straw for them to use that I also wash nightly in our resort room. There have been a few quick trips, I have brought plastic disposable ones with me and that wasn’t a problem. I do think I prefer the reusable ones though because my little ones don’t chew on them and they came with a carry case. Just bring whichever style you prefer, with you when you visit.
Donald, I do hope this helps, if you have any other questions, or need any packing tips,
let us know. We’re all EARs!
See ya real soon!
