I want to Know when Disneyland Resorts Disney Performing Arts Conservatory 2020 online Registration reopen

Greetings, Brandi, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR!

I love the once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunities, workshops, and festivals offered through Disney Youth Programs. I can’t imagine a better way to learn than with the magic of the Disney Parks! I checked online to learn more about the registration for the 2020 Disney Performing Arts Conservatory, both on the Musical Theatre page and Instrumental, and unfortunately, it looks like this year’s program has been canceled. Here’s the statement I found:

“While there is still much uncertainty with respect to the impacts of the unprecedented COVID-19, the safety and well-being of our guests and cast members remain the top priority of the Disneyland Resort. In light of recommendations from state and local governments and related impacts on our business, we are making the difficult decision to cancel the Disney Performing Arts Conservatory 2020.

Given the Disney Performing Arts Conservatory requires a substantial amount of planning, coordination and travel, we felt that this was the right decision to make at this time. We know how disappointing this news will be to the many students who were planning to join us for this year’s Conservatory.

Information about future Disney Performing Arts offerings will be shared as soon as it is available.”

I’m so sorry I don’t have better news to pass along, Brandi! For any additional questions about Disney Youth Programs, please feel free to call 1-877-WD-YOUTH, and a Cast Member would be happy to help you.

However, we do have some Disney Parks news worth smiling about – like the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, starting on July 9, 2020!  Under the proposed plans, Downtown Disney District will open on July 9, followed by Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on July 17, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel on July 23 (pending state and local government approvals). Here's what you can expect during your next visit to the Disneyland Resort.

We can’t wait for you and your family to get back to the magic soon, Brandi! Wishing you a pixie-dusted summer at the Happiest Place on Earth!

As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
