    I would like to know if Disney World is having Star Wars nights in 2024. I really want to bring my husband but California is just not doable.

    Hi there Donna, and welcome to planDisney!

    I can totally relate with the feeling of debating between a trip out to California for the super-special Disney happenings that they seem to have more and more often when a trip here at Walt Disney World Resort is just that much closer! If there's anything that we can't deny, it's that Disneyland Resort definitely has the higher ground when it comes to all of the special Disneyland After Dark "Nites" that take place throughout the year; this is something that I personally wish we had over on the East Coast every time we see the unique offerings and exclusive entertainment that they've got over there.

    With all of the scheduled Star Wars Nite dates taking place in April and May this year out in California, I wish there were similar events out here in Orlando but at the current time (as of February 2024) there haven't been any announcements nor any top-secret plans released that we can share with guests about what might be coming to Walt Disney World Resort in 2024. With the Season of the Force announced to take place at Disneyland Park with more Star Wars offerings from food to fireworks beyond the nighttime parties, this may very well make this the year to strongly consider charting a course out west if you're in search of these intergalactic experiences that we just don't have right now.

    That said, I do highly recommend keeping a close eye on the Star Wars news on the Disney Parks Blog for any intriguing updates like a sarlacc lying in wait beneath the sand - we typically write our tips and content as things spring up before May and there could very well be surprises in store for fans eagerly awaiting the possibility of new things coming to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. (I've personally witnessed lightsaber meetups and unofficial gatherings that still take place around such a special day, so it might be a good idea to plan to be around Disney's Hollywood Studios on the 4th of May just in case.) In the meantime, once you do spot any new Star Wars coming, be sure to come on back to planDisney to see if we have any other details or advice to share!
