I know that Disney is upgrading their dining plan, but I was wondering if you would be able to tell me when I would be able to make my dining reservations? I will be visitng the first week in April 2009.

I can't give you an exact date because that will depend upon the specific day you want to dine.  That said, I can tell you that Disney has recently changed the dining reservation policy from 180 days to 90.  What that means to you is that you should call Disney dining at 407-WDW-DINE to schedule your meal reservations 90 days prior to your check-in date.  If you'll be staying in a Disney-owned resort hotel, you can schedule up to ten days worth of reservations beginning 90 days from your arrival date.  If you'll be arriving on April 3rd, for instance, you can call on January 3rd to schedule reservations for the first ten days of your trip.  Make sense?

    Hope that helps.  :)
