Hi Dawn and welcome to planDisney!
I see that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up quick! How exciting to be visiting during the month of March. It's one of my favorite times of the year at Disney World because it's
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and it's also my birthday month! I'll be celebrating by sipping on a La Vie en Rose Frozen Slush from the France Pavilion Outdoor Kitchen.
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a fantastic choice! I remember my son's face the first time we stayed there and seeing him run down the larger-than-life football field and pretending to play baseball with Huey, Dewey and Louie. There are so many great photo opportunities all throughout the resort! Most of the rooms at All-Star Sports have been refurbished, if not all of them by now. The new rooms have a beverage cooler, which is a little bit different than a mini fridge. These beverage coolers are a little smaller and more shallow, but can still hold drinks and smaller items that need to be kept cool. I like to keep bottles of water in the fridge to bring with me to the parks, especially on warmer days.
Don't forget to pack your swimsuits and sunscreen for your trip! The weather next week will be warm during the day and perfect for a dip in the pool! I'm sure being a fellow Floridian, you're used to the unpredictable weather leading up to spring, so also include a light jacket for the cooler nights. I never leave home without my trusty poncho in case we get caught in a rain shower at the parks.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
