I know Disney is now seperating adult vs child credits, my question is can I still use my deluxe credits to cover people I’m dining with who are not on the dining plan? If I want to use 8 of my adult DDP credits to cover 5 adults and 3 kids can I? Thanks!

Hi there Catherine, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you’re here. It sounds like you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World soon, during which you and your family will be enjoying a Disney Dining Plan! There is no better way to experience all the delicious Disney food and snacks than with a Dining Plan. How kind of you to share with your friends, too!

Regarding your question, you are definitely able to use adult Dining credits to pay for Child meals. However, you may find that it is not the best use of your Credits. Given that Adult meals cost more than Child meals, you may be better off paying for the Child meals out-of-pocket and using the Adult meal credits for Adult meals only. Wherever you choose to dine, just inform the Cast Member of your plans at the end of the meal and I know they will make your dreams come true!

Catherine, did you know that at many Quick-Service dining locations, you can use Mobile Ordering to place your order before you arrive at the Restaurant? This will allow you to have more time for your adventures!

I hope this information helps you make the best decision for your group, Catherine! Please do not hesitate to come back to see us if we can ever be of help again in the future!

    See ya real soon!
