Hi Karen,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney to ask a question! I am always delighted to greet a fellow North Carolinian!
I wish I had more definitive news. We do not yet have a reopening date for
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This is truly my favorite moderate resort. The last time I stayed there, we felt like royalty in a
Royal Guest Room. In the meantime, there are other Walt Disney World Resort hotels to choose from and several of my favorites are open. Check the
Disney Resort Hotel Updates for current resort availability.
Disney's Caribbean Beach and
Disney's Coronado Springs Resorts are open and are both considered moderate resort hotels. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort now has access to the
Disney Skyliner which provides transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. We just recently stayed at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and LOVED it. The walking path to Magic Kingdom was fantastic and we were thrilled to be able to walk to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for breakfast and lunch at Kona Cafe on a few days.
As you continue planning, be sure to familiarize yourself with the
Disney Park Pass system and check
park availability for the dates you plan to visit. Also check
dining updates to take note of which restaurants will be open during your stay. Although our most recent visit was different from prior visits, we had a fabulous time and came back with so many great memories!
Karen, I am sending a little extra pixie dust hoping you will find your royal princess accommodations soon!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
