I know that Disney provide you with a GAC however just to check is there any type of discount for a child with a disability or the carer? Just I know that here in UK there would be discounts. Thanks

    Hello, Alana!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm afraid there are no special tickets or discounts offered for guests with physical disabilities or other medical conditions (or their companions/caregivers) visiting Walt Disney World Resort, with the sole exception of children with terminal illnesses visiting on a special "Make-A-Wish" trip.

My husband is disabled and uses a manual wheelchair for mobility. When our family travels together, my husband frequently receives discounted admission at certain museums, historical sites and other locations due to the fact that the entire facility or tour is not accessible (e.g., steps or stairs, no ramps or elevator available) to non-ambulatory visitors. However, at Walt Disney World Resort the majority of attractions and shows are accessible to guests with mobility challenges.

I hope this information is helpful to you in your planning your visit. Please let us know if we can provide any further assistance. It is always our pleasure!
