I know that Disney offers Military Discounts on their Hotels and Park Passes. Do they also offer Military Discounts at their dining areas?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michael! I have traveled a few times to Walt Disney World Resort with my Coast Guard brother and we have always had a great time! I made sure he knew about all of Walt Disney World’s military discounts and offerings to make the most of our trip!

You will certainly find those Military Salute ticket offers, discounted hotel and resort rates, as well as a money savings on Memory Maker, but sadly, I hate to tell you that Disney does not offer a merchandise savings through a military discount. Likewise, you will not find a dining discount within the parks. I did a bit a poking around, and found that some folks have found success at various restaurants at Disney Springs such as T-Rex, House of Blues, and the Rainforest Cafe with a small discount. I believe that you should always ask if there is a discount, because now that I have my little yellow card as an Annual Passholder, I’m finding surprise discounts and benefits everywhere I go.

Thank you for your service to our country, and I hope you have a magical vacation. If you have any more questions with your military options, please feel free to ask me another question! ~ Lindsey P.
