Want to know if Disney offer some kind of birthday pass that will allow my son & I to do a guest entrance? I don't want to buy a theme park ticket. He is a toddler.Interested in access just to one of the restaurants for character dining.

    Kenitra:

Thanks for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for your question.

I have been in your shoes before and wanted desperately to enjoy a restaurant in the parks without purchasing a theme park ticket but unfortunately, such a ticket--allowing you in the park just to eat--doesn't exist to my knowledge. If your son is under three, he does not need a ticket, but you do in order to gain access to the theme park, even just to eat at the restaurant.

There are other dining locations outside of the theme parks that offer Character Interaction like Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Hotel, 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and Ohana's for breakfast with Stitch and Lilo at the Polynesian Hotel. You an also see Minnie and some friends at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club and The Garden Grove at The Swan. There is also a backyard barbecue with Mickey and his pals at the pavilion at Fort Wilderness. To see all of your options, click here.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
