I know for the Disney Military Promotional Tickets the military member must be present and show ID for the first day only, then they do not need to be there for the following days. But, is this the same for nonpromotional tickets bought from the Navy MWR?

Hello there, Heina. Welcome to planDisney. We love helping Guests get all the answers to their planning questions.

It looks like you are planning a magical visit during the most wonderful time of the year! As a military spouse, my family loves the offers that Disneyland and Walt Disney World extend to military families. You are correct that if you have the Disney Military Promotional Tickets, you will need to show your military ID when you activate them at the gate for the first time. However, if you purchase the nonpromotional, standard Disneyland tickets from MWR or a military base ticket office, you do not need to show ID, because anyone can use these tickets.

It is very important that you know because you are purchasing them through the ticket office and not directly through Disneyland, you will need to make theme park ticket reservations for your tickets. The holidays are a popular time and reservations do fill up. If you haven't purchased these tickets yet, I highly recommend looking at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure the days are still available before you purchase the tickets. Once you've purchased your tickets, you will link them to your Disney account in the Disneyland app. That will allow you to make the reservations in the app as well.

Heina, I hope this information helps you finish planning your visit. We are always here if you have any other questions for us!
