I know the Disney Dream has a hair dryer in the stateroom, but can we still bring our own?

    Ahoy, Malinda!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

It's true that hair dryers are provided in staterooms for guests, but it's also true that I'm very picky when it comes to hair dryers! I have long straight hair and it's pretty thick, so I like a powerful dryer to cut down on drying time.
The good news is that the hair dryers in the staterooms are actually really great - not your typical run-of-the-mill wimpy hotel hair dryers. The other good news is that you're welcome to bring along your own personal hair dryer and styling tools!

Disney Cruise Line simply asks that you turn off and unplug your hair appliances when not in use. Basically, use the same judgement you would in your own home when it comes to safety.

There are no standard outlet plugs in the bathroom area of the staterooms, but outlets are provided in the desk/vanity area for your convenience.

I hope this helps with your planning and packing. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
