I know Disney Dollars can be used at the Disney stores; Can they can be used in any of the parks? at Downtown Disney? the Disney outlet mall? all Disney restaurants? (character dining)? I haven't had much luck in getting any direct answers.

    I hope I can help!

We travel with Disney Dollars frequently. It seems our family knows just what to get us for birthdays and anniversaries.

We have used Disney Dollars at the stores in the park.  Since they are accepted like cash, even the outdoor vending carts gladly accepted our Ariel dollar bills.  Policies often change, but we’ve also paid with Disney Dollars at the World of Disney and at the Disney outlet store, Character Warehouse (love those bargains!).

Purchasing Disney Dollars is a great way to help kids stick to a budget at Walt Disney World. For every U.S. dollar spent, you will receive one Disney Dollar. This currency is really fun to use and maybe too easy to spend.

The places that won’t accept Disney Dollars are those that are not Disney-owned such as the Rainforest Café, Earl of Sandwich, etc.

Disney-owned stores at Downtown Disney such as World of Disney, Once Upon a Toy, Team Mickey, Art of Disney, etc will accept these forms of currency.
