Hi, I know that Disney do celebration button pins, but Io they still do the Guest of Honour badges? Also I have achilles tendenitous the doctor said the letter won't be done before I leave.Does that mean I won't be able to get queueing assistance?

    Hi Natasha,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I haven't seen the Guest of Honor Badges in the parks in awhile.  They now offer several types of celebration buttons which indicate what type of occasion you're celebrating. Among the buttons available are "1st Visit", "Happy Birthday", "I'm Celebrating", "Family Reunion", "Happily Ever After" and "Just Married". These buttons are usually available when you check in at your resort or any Guest Relations location in the parks. You could ask about the Guest of Honor Badges at any of those locations.  I've also seen Cast Members give out special pns. On our last visit, Fire Chief Smokey in the Magic Kingdom gave my boys a pin of Stitcih dressed as a fireman. My boys were so excited. All part of the pixie dust from the Disney magic.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Achilles tendentious. You will not need the letter from your doctor to obtain a Guest Assistance Card (GAC). For more information on how to obtain a GAC, click here.

The parks are big and you'll be doing a lot of walking. You may want to think about renting a wheelchair if your Achilles begins to bother you too much. Click here for a list of rental locations & rental fees. Keep in mind that wheelchairs rented at a park must remain at that park. If you park hop during any given day, you can present your receipt at the rental location at the other parks & get another wheelchair at that part (if available) at no additional charge.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
