    Do you know if Disney allow their waiters to keep their own tips? How do you calculate tips when using DDP? Is it a suggested amount per person or a % of what the meal would have cost? Is there a standard recommended amount?

    Thank you so much for asking your question! We're so thrilled you're hEAR! 

    Some quick tips on tipping:
    • Gratuities are not included, unless otherwise indicated. 
    •  However, if you are a party of 6 of more, an automatic gratuity of 18% is added to your bill.
    • You will receive a check at the end of your meal which will show the total amount of the meal. Disney will supply you with suggested tipping amounts on the receipt. 
    • The standard is 15-20% of the total cost of the meal. I tend to use 18% as my standard and increase for exceptional service. 
    • Tips can be left in the form of cash, on your Key To The World Card (if you have authorized it for charging), Disney Gift Card, Credit Card, Disney Dollars, or Disney Visa Rewards Card
