Do you know of any discounts for educators and their immediate families?

Hi James! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for taking the time to send me your question!

When I'm not teaching, I love spending at The Happiest Place on Earth! While there aren't any specific discounts for educators, I'm happy to share how I save money when planning a Disney Parks vacation. On the Disneyland website, I always check for Special Offers & Discounts. At this time, there are discount offers for select dates at the Disneyland Resort Hotels as well as a Theme Park Ticket offer. Because your arrival date is further out, there might not be any offers that apply for your visit yet, so be sure to check back. You can find discounts under the Tickets & Parks menu tab.

Another way that I save money is by using frequent flyer miles to book flights. My preferred airport when traveling to the Disneyland Resort is John Wayne Airport. The rental car locations at this airport are on-site, and using rideshare is very convenient as well.

My favorite way to save money when planning a Disney vacation is to use my Disney Visa Credit Card. I like to pay for our Theme Park Tickets, hotel reservations, and other related travel expenses with the card ahead of time. Then, I use the Disney Rewards Dollars I have earned to pay for dining and souvenirs during our vacation.

James, I hope this information helps with your planning! If you have more questions before you arrive, please stop by planDisney again. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
