Hi Brittany!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line adventure through the Caribbean! I can’t think of anywhere else I would rather be for eight-nights and I am so excited for you!
Because I am not exactly sure which date you will be heading to sea on, I am not able to provide you with the most detailed of information, but on an eight-night sailing you can expect 5 cruise casual nights, one formal night, one semi-formal night and one Pirate-themed night. As far as
dining rotations, you will rotate through the three main restaurants during your voyage and your incredible dining room team of servers will follow you each night to the different restaurants. From my experience on longer voyages, there is a different dinner menu each night, and you will also get to experience the restaurant’s exclusive menu. Be prepared for lots and lots of food…you won’t ever go hungry on a Disney Cruise! You will receive your specific dining room rotation once you arrive at Port Canaveral for embarkation and it will be noted on your Key to the World Card, so you’ll always have it on hand to see where you’ll be dining each night. Remember that you can always opt to dine at Cabanas for a seated meal (it is not a buffet for dinner service, but rather a sit-down dinner) or by the pool or have dinner brought to your stateroom via Room Service!
Once your Online Check-In window opens, you will be able to see which night is Pirate Night and you can always come back to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and we can find out your specific voyage’s dining itinerary (formal, semi-formal, Pirate night) to help you prepare.
Wishing you a FANTASTic adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
