I know I can make my dining reservations 180 days before my trip. What time can I start making the reservations that day?

Hi, Angie!  It's great to see a fellow Pennsylvanian here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm glad to hEAR that you are planning your dining experiences for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation in advance.  Dining reservations for popular Walt Disney World Resort restaurants tend to book quickly, so I always recommend that guests reserve their must-do meals as soon as possible.

Dining reservations can be made on the Walt Disney World Resort website or using your My Disney Experience mobile app 180 days in advance, beginning at 6:00 a.m. EST.  If you are a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guest, you will be able to make dining reservations for your entire trip (up to 10 days) 180 days before your arrival.  Guests staying elsewhere may still make their reservations 180 days in advance, but they will need to do so for one day at a time.

The Walt Disney World Resort has a wide variety of restaurants with delicious food and a unique atmosphere.  There truly is something to appeal to everyone's tastes.  If fine dining with a spectacular view interests you, I'm sure you would enjoy California Grill.  Be sure to book a dinner reservation at 'Ohana for a bountiful family-style feast with Hawaiian hospitality.  The 'Ohana bread pudding dessert is one of my most favorite foods!

I think every Walt Disney World Resort guest should also experience a character meal.  What could be better than enjoying a scrumptious meal while visiting with some of your favorite Disney pals?  My family has a tradition of having breakfast at Chef Mickey's on the first morning of every visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.  Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White has recently become another one of our favorite dining experiences.  On our next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, we are looking forward to trying the newest character meal,  Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino's Terrace.  This dining experience can be found at the brand-new Disney's Riviera Resort.  Just wait until you see the adorable costumes that Mickey and his pals wear when they greet guests at this new location!

If we can help you with any other aspect of planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please stop by and visit us again.  See ya real soon!
