Hi Letzy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to hear that you are considering one of the
Disney Dining Plans!
Since we have visited with and without dining plans, I will first say that my family always finds using a dining plan to be a better value. Part of our decision depends on our eating habits. We prefer to eat at least two meals per day and we like to have at least one of those meals be a table-service meal (like a nice sit-down dinner). With the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, you will receive two quick-service meals and two snacks per night of stay. Take a look at the
quick-service options and, from the restaurants' web pages, click "View Menu" when that link is available. I actually suggest that you consider the
Disney Dining Plan. It will give you one table-service and one quick service meal entitlement per night of stay. Each dining plan includes a resort refillable mug and those are like gold in our family!
Although the Disney Dining Plan may seem more expensive, for us, it is a better value because we enjoy the dessert included with table-service meals for lunch and dinner. Plus, we can use our table-service meal entitlements for
character dining experiences. Some of these can be more than $50 per adult. The interactions our girls have had with the characters have been priceless! Doing so has allowed us to skip the character lines in the parks.
Letzy, many of the restaurant menus have prices, so use those to get a sense of the cost of food and then make your decision!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
