Do you know when the dining will be back? Also, if you do not stay on the resort, are you able to buy the dining plan? Are you no longer able to purchase fast pass if you do not stay on the resort?

Hey there, Kristin. I see that your trip to the most magical place on earth is a little under a month away. I know you've got to be getting so excited. April is a great time to visit, the weather is just beautiful. Hopefully, you've planned a pool day or two to enjoy some fun in the Florida sun!

Unfortunately, at this time, I don't have any news on when the Disney Dining Plan may return to Walt Disney World. There's been no announcement made but when there is, you'll be able to find it and all of the details on the Disney Parks Blog. That is my go-to place for up-to-date information right now. I have enjoyed the Disney Dining Plan on many of my previous vacations and I know there are a lot of fans who are hoping it returns soon. In the past, the Disney Dining Plan has only been offered for Guests that are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. If you were not staying at one of those resorts, there was not an option for this additional purchase. I don't know what the Disney Dining Plan will look like if and when it returns but this could always be a possibility.

The FastPass+ program was actually a free service to all valid ticket holders at Walt Disney World. There was never any charge to use this service whether you were staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or not. The FastPass+ reservation system lets Guests with valid theme park admission pre-select 3 attractions each day to bypass the standard queue and enjoy with little to no wait time. Since the reopening of Walt Disney World last summer, the FastPass+ reservation system has been temporarily suspended. Now, all Guests must wait in the standard queue for all attractions. I also haven't heard any dates for the return of this service either. Since the FastPass+ program isn't available at this time, I recommend visiting the Walt Disney World Theme Parks early in the morning, right when they open, to avoid waiting in long lines if you are interested in experiencing some of the most popular attractions. Just last week my family and I were at Walt Disney World and were amazed at what we were able to check off our must-do list by lunchtime. Then around lunchtime, we'd head back to our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for an afternoon swim. When everyone had their fill of splish-splashing around, we'd clean up and park hop over to Epcot for dinner and drinks around The World Showcase. It was a great way to spend a Disney day.

Kristin, I hope this helped answer some of the questions you have about Walt Disney World right now. If you can think of anything else before your trip, I'd be more than happy to answer them for you.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
