I know there are many different "pirate Adventures" which one would be most appropriate for boys aged 10-11. also which one features Jack Sparrow? thanks!

    Ahoy there Mindy!

You're correct that there are many exciting experiences available for aspiring buccaneers!

At select Disney resort hotels, there's a Pirate Adventure where children ages 4 to 12 can board a pirate-themed boat and scour the waterways around Walt Disney World Resort in search of pirate treasure.

On select evenings, the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage sets sail on Seven Seas Lagoon. In addition to fun character interaction with some of the Neverland Pirates as well as Patch, your Pirate Host, there's a delicious spread of snacks and beverages and an incredible view of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.

For both of the above events, reservations can may be made up to 180 days in advance by calling the Walt Disney World Recreation Department at 407-WDW-PLAY.

However, The Pirates League inside Magic Kingdom Park offers the opportunity to participate in the daily Parade of Pirates in Adventureland with Captain Jack and his trusted mates. Children can choose from a variety of packages to undergo a "piratical transformation" and become one of Captain Jack's newest recruits. Due to popularity, you'll want to call (407) WDW-CREW as soon as possible prior to the date of your boys' visit.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your trip!
