I know this is such an on going debate but would love your thoughts. Value or spend more for moderate resort? Do you have favorites in each category?

Hi again Kay! Your choice will ultimately depend on your family's preferences and touring style. If your family is the type to hit the theme parks at Rope Drop and go back to the resort only to sleep, I would opt for a value resort stay. On the other hand if you would rather spend some of your vacation enjoying the resort's amenities and recreational activities, then I would say stay at a moderate. Some of the differences between the two resort categories are as follows: (1) the rooms at moderates are bigger than at the values; (2) moderates have fridges and coffee makers in the room; (3) moderates have double sinks in the bathroom area, with the exception of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort; (4) moderates have a privacy curtain between the bedroom and the vanity area; (5) the pools at the moderates have slides; (6) moderates have hot tubs; and (7) the moderates have table service restaurants. To learn more about the similarities and differences between the two resort categories, please read my friend Cathy's answer to the same question HERE. Regarding my own personal preferences, Disney's Pop Century Resort would be my choice in the value resort category. My favorite moderate resort is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Have a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
