Hi Angela!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to hear that you are planning another trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.
I am so sorry to hear that one of your days ended unexpectedly early on your last visit. Short of pulling out my crystal ball to conjure up the 2020 dates for
Mickey's-Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party, we do not have those official dates as of yet! Last year, the Disney Parks Blog
announced dates in mid-January, so I suggest checking the
Disney Parks Blog for this year's party dates. I would also suggest keeping an eye on the
park hours for the dates of your trip. We always check the park hours when making
advanced dining reservations and to make sure there are not any other special events happening that may close the parks to certain guests.
Even though I check the park hours when making our advanced dining reservations, I have also learned to double-check those hours as it gets closer to our trip. The year that Toy Story Land opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the park hours changed to include early morning
Extra Magic Hours on a day that we were planning to do an 8:00 a.m. breakfast reservation, so I changed that breakfast reservation. As you review the park hours, be sure to check the schedule for each park and take a look at the
Entertainment Schedule for each day of your visit. With the entertainment schedule, I can make sure that we see all of our favorite shows, especially the
Happily Ever After Fireworks show at Magic Kingdom!
Once I know the times of all of our favorite shows, I put those on our plans in
My Disney Experience so that we can keep track of them. In My Disney Experience, I just go to "My Plans" and then click on "Add More Plans."
Angela, I am sending pixie dust as you plan and, maybe, just maybe, I shall cast a spell to make sure your trip is hauntingly perfect!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
