You are going to love the spook-tacular Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The 2012 dates have not been released yet, but I strongly recommend visiting our website and the Disney Parks Blog often from now on. Last year's dates were announced on May 2, but it is possible to see tickets go on sale in early Summer.
Based on past schedules, the most common nights in September are Tuesdays and Fridays; in October Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; and in November, on November 1. Do click on the Disney Parks Blog link I provided above for last year's pricing information.
