Hey Denise!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. Your visit to the magic is just a few days away. Can you already start to feel that pixie dust? Your timing couldn't be more perfect as the
70th Anniversary has kicked off, bringing celebratory entertainment, experiences, and limited-time sweet and savory treats to both parks!
I'm happy to help you navigate your
DAS pass experience. It sounds like you have already registered yourself or a friend/family member through the live chat and have been approved. I hope I have that right! When you pull up your
Disneyland app, navigate to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner. On the next page, you will see several tiles, from "My Tickets & Passes" to "Order Food". If you have been approved for DAS and it is linked to the account used to log into your app, you will also see a tile with the DAS icon that says "Disability Access Service". If you don't see it, I'd recommend calling
Guest Services to ensure that everything is set up correctly. You can also reach out to Cast Members via email at disability.services@disneyland.com, but since your trip is this week, in the interest of time, I'd give them a ring!
I'm going to assume that you are all set and ready to scan through those Main Entrance Gates. Once you are inside the park, open your app and head to that DAS tile. This is where you will make your first return time selection. A Guest registered for DAS can include up to 3 additional people in the party, for a total of 4. The return time will be comparable to the current wait time in the standby queue, but will allow you to experience other aspects of the park rather than wait in the line itself. Your party can make your
next selection 10 minutes after you have scanned into your first return window. Any member of the party can make these selections via the app, but the Guest registered for DAS must be present to experience the attraction. If you have any questions while you are in the parks, you can always visit the
Accessibility Services Kiosk located in the Main Entrance Esplanade.
I highly recommend taking a look through the
Entertainment Schedule as you make your way to the parks to see all the new offerings in honor of the 70th!
The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade down Main Street is a delight, featuring Duffy and ShellieMay and, of course, fan favorites Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals in their 70th attire! If you love nighttime spectaculars, I highly recommend carving out a spot in front of "it's a small world" to catch one of the evening performances of
Tapestry of Happiness, which is a joyful walk down memory lane! Stay right where you are and catch the second performance of the
Paint the Night Parade!
Denise, I hope this has been helpful. If you need any more tips, we love sharing our Disneyland experience with fellow Guests. We are always here for you at planDisney!
Magic awaits!
Tara
