    I know we can customize the band and have names put on them do you know if the writing is on the outside or on the inside near the skin?

    Hello, Jennifer! 

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for sending us another vacation planning question. We are here to help you with all sorts of details, even the placement of names on MagicBands. 

    When completing your MagicBand customization on your My Disney Experience Account, you will have the option of selecting from the available colors and choosing a name up to nine characters. The name you choose on the band can be given names, nicknames, or something fun - my MagicBand for an upcoming vacation reads "SuperMom." Names will be printed on the inside of the MagicBand in the middle where the RFID "Mickey Head" chip is located; the names are not visible. Also keep in mind, you will have up to thirty days prior to your arrival to complete the customization process. 

    I hope this is helpful, Jennifer! And I hope you have fun customizing the names. It's almost become a game for my family to see what I've chosen as their "name" for that vacation when our MagicBand box arrives in the mail.
