Ahoy, Joleen!Argh! It be helpful to know ahead of time whether yer cruise be havin' a swashbucklin' pirate-themed celebration. For that be the way to know what cargo be best to pack!Aye! It is all but certain that your cruise aboard the Disney Dream will feature a special Pirate Night. On your four-night cruise, you can expect the first night and the last night to be considered "cruise casual" nights. After you board the ship, be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to see which of your other nights will be Pirate Night and which will be designated an optional dress-up night. Pirate Night is really another cruise casual night. But many Guests choose to wear pirate costumes or other buccaneer- or nautical-themed attire that night. The rotational dining rooms will also have a special Pirate Night menu to enjoy. On dress-up night, many Guests choose to wear fancier clothing: usually jackets for men, dresses or pantsuits for women. But many Guests also feel perfectly comfortable in the usual cruise casual attire. Each Guest may choose to enjoy their vacation in the way that best suits them.Tony's Tip: Although schedules for themed nights are subject to change, there is a trick that usually gives a strong hint about which night of your cruise will be Pirate Night. When you log on to your My Cruise Reservations after your window for selecting cruise activities opens up, you can look through the Onboard Fun activities offered each day of your cruise. If you happen across a Pirates League makeover activity available to reserve on a given day, that is almost surely going to be the day of your Pirate Night!Fair winds and a following sea, Joleen!~Tony
