Fernanda from Dublin Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How can I know if my cruise will have a formal night and semi formal night? And when are they taking place? I want to plan which clothes I'll bring and don't want to pack a fancy dress and heels for nothing. Sailing 7 nights through Europe.

Ahoy there, Fernanda! Thank you for sailing by planDisney. Your magical sailing on the Disney Fantasy will be here before you know it! Since you are trying to close your suitcase soon, I am happy to step into the role of Fairy Godmother and share the suggested attire and deck party for your itinerary (subject to change without notice):
    • Night 1: Cruise Casual
    • Night 2: Formal
    • Night 3: Cruise Casual
    • Night 4: Pirate Night with no Fireworks/Cruise Casual
    • Night 5: Cruise Casual
    • Night 6: Cruise Casual
    • Night 7: Semi-Formal
I hope this helps you with your packing list and any last-minute shopping you need to do. Many Guests like to dress up for Pirate Night, but it is not required.

Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you embark, Fernanda. Notifications for any changes will be in the app. You will also find the list of onboard activities and a chat feature that you can use to message family and friends you are cruising with.

If you have any questions, don’t worry about the clock striking midnight. planDisney is here for you anytime.

    Happy Sailing!
