Hiya Lindsay - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists today. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Mickey certainly does have some magical
Special Offers for his Florida Resident neighbors, including offers on Theme Park Tickets, Annual Passes, and Disney Resort Hotel stays! These offers are exclusively for Florida Residents, and
verification of Florida Resident status is required to
use any ticket or reservation purchased as part of a Florida Resident Special Offer.
Lindsay, this means that unless you decide to move down to the Sunshine State sometime soon, you won't be eligible to use Florida Resident Theme Park Tickets, even if they are purchased by someone who is a Florida Resident. However, the requirement to show
proof of Florida residency only applies to adults 18 years of age and older. If your children are under the age of 18 and your cousin plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with you, your children would be able to use tickets purchased by your cousin.
Be sure to include a visit to
EPCOT during your upcoming vacation. Not only can you enjoy the various festivals almost year-round, but EPCOT is also the home of my favorite new attraction - the
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind rollercoaster!
I hope this information was helpful, Lindsay -
stop by with more questions any time!Ryan J.
