I know that coolers larger than 24" X 15" X18" are not permitted inside Disneyland....but what about a 12-pack cooler smaller than that size? How about a 12-pack cooler which is 18" X 8" X 12", smaller than the size limit

Hi there, Vicky! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’m so glad you’ve been doing your research before heading to Disneyland Resort in November! According to the Disneyland Resort Rules, coolers can’t exceed 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high, so, as long as your cooler is smaller than those dimensions, you should be good to go! Just keep in mind that loose and dry ice aren’t allowed inside coolers, so I recommend utilizing re-usable ice packs to keep food and drinks cold. Also, alcoholic beverages and glass containers aren’t allowed to enter the theme parks.

Did you know there’s a shady and comfortable Picnic Area just outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance? It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a packed meal. Afterward, you can store your cooler or bag inside a nearby Locker Rental. Also, if you prefer not to lug around heavy water bottles all day, you can ask for complimentary ice water from any quick-service dining location.

I’m excited to see that you’ll be visiting the Disneyland Resort on Thanksgiving! There’s a delicious Thanksgiving feast at the Disneyland Hotel with seatings at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The buffet features traditional Thanksgiving fare, along with kid-friendly options, too. I can taste the homemade stuffing now! Look out for visits from popular Disney pals, too!

Wishing you a magical and delicious Thanksgiving at the Happiest Place on Earth!
