How will I know what is considered a snack on my 2018 dining plan when I am at a Disney restaurant? Is there a label or do I ask a Disney employee? Is the Dole whip at Tamu Tamu considered a snack?

    Hi Lisa!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family is a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan. With two teenage boys, food plays a huge role in our trips to Walt Disney World, so I love knowing that our meals are all paid for in advance!

When you are at a dining location, the snacks that count as a credit on your dining plan will be labeled with a  purple snack symbol beside it. If you aren't sure about something, you can always ask a nearby Cast Member.

The last time I was there, the Pineapple Whip Soft-Serve (DOLE WHIP) was available as a snack credit at Tamu Tamu Refreshments inside Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.  If you want the dark or coconut rum would be an additional fee.

In case you didn't know, you can now use Mobile Ordering with your Disney Dining Plan. Mobile Ordering allows you to order your food on the My Disney Experience app and then pick it up when you get there. It's a big time-saver!

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
