Welcome back to planDisney, Sabrina!
It's great to see you here again with another question. I'm a
Disney Vacation Club member, and I LOVE talking about my family's home resort,
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. We find that it's one of the most relaxing resorts in all of Walt Disney World.
While most one-bedroom villas here accommodate up to five Guests, the handicap-accessible one-bedroom villas have sleeping space for four individuals. Unlike the non-accessible villas, you won't find a pull-down twin mattress under the television in the accessible villas. I chatted with a Cast Member who shared that you can add a fifth person to these rooms by
calling Member Services if you booked through Disney Vacation Club, or
Walt Disney World Reservations if you secured a regular booking. The online system will only allow four Guests on the reservation, but a Cast Member can override this. Keep in mind that you will need to provide bedding (air mattress, linens, etc) for a fifth person if you go this route.
I hope everything works out for your travel party, Tracie! When vacationing at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa be sure to enjoy nearby
Disney Springs where dining and shopping opportunities await! My family loves stopping by
Gideon's Bakehouse early in our trip and finding goodies to store in our villa's kitchen for the remainder of our stay. If you're in the mood for something new, consider trying
eet by Maneet Chauhan or
Summer House on the Lake, two of the latest additions to the lineup of Disney Springs restaurants.
Best wishes for an enchanting visit. We can't wait to welcome you home soon!
