    Do you know when the Christmas lights turn on this year 2017.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mary! 

    While I can't give an exact date yet, Mickey and the gang are still making plans for the 2017 holiday festivities, I can give you enough details to help you in your planning.

    In general, Magic Kingdom Park will be entirely decorated and ready for the holidays in time for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of the season - which usually begins the first or second weekend of November. 

    Resort Hotels and other theme parks take just a few days longer with all decorations in place and ready for guests the week before Thanksgiving. 

    I hope this helps give you some general idea - please check back with us as we travel through the year. All dates are usually out by mid/late July to allow for guests to play their vacations during the most wonderful time of the year by the 180 day Advanced Dining Reservation opening.
