I know that children under the age of 3 are "free" but what if we want to plan a trip to celebrate her turning 3 during our trip will she still free? She will be 2 on our first arrival date.

    Hi Natalia!

Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, especially for your little princess! We celebrated my son's third birthday during a trip to Walt Disney World Resort and we made so many memories on his special day. Be sure to get your daughter a complimentary birthday celebration button to wear so Cast Members and other Guests can help make her birthday extra special. My son got a special birthday song from The Dapper Dans when they saw his birthday button!

Guests don't age during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation (meaning that visits to see Mickey really do keep you young)! You are correct that Guests who are under 3 years old are special Guests of Mickey Mouse and receive complimentary admission to the theme parks. So since your daughter will be 2 years old at the start of your trip, she will be considered 2 years old for the duration of your vacation for ticketing purposes and you will not need to purchase a theme park ticket for her for your trip!

Since every birthday needs a cake, be sure to consider ordering a birthday cake for her to complete her birthday celebration! Let us know if we can help with additional questions as you continue making your plans. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
