Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Natel. We're glad to see you again!
You are correct; a child under the age of 3 does not require
theme park admission. A child's age for the length stay is based on the age at the time of travel. Since your child will be 2-years old at the time of travel, they will be considered under the age of 3 for your entire stay at the
Walt Disney World Resort, regardless of when you first enter a theme park during your vacation. My son turned 3 mid-vacation a few years ago. What a magical birthday that was! To celebrate, we had a special lunch at
The Crystal Palace where Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood presented my son with a cupcake and a signed birthday card. It was precious!
Thanks for stopping by, Natel. If you have any other questions about
traveling with a little one in tow, please let me know. From
dining recommendations to advice about a day in the theme parks (a
stroller is a MUST), I'd love to help you plan a memorable visit!
