I would like to know if I will have to check in for my return flight at the airport, or if I can check in for it at the resort since my return flight leaves at 7:50 AM and resort check in starts at 5:00AM? Also could I still ride the Magical Express bus?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Randall!

I love to use Disney's Magical Express as my transportation from Walt Disney World Resort to Orlando International Airport for my flight home so I can feel like I'm still on my Disney vacation as long as possible! Disney's Magical Express operates 24 hours per day so you will definitely be able to use it as your transportation to the airport. Resort Airline Check-In is the service where you can check-in to your flight and check your luggage right from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, allowing you to bypass the airport check-in desk. It is available for Guests flying one of the participating airlines and operates from 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. However, if you are using Resort Airline Check-In, you are required to check-in at least three hours prior to your scheduled departure time. Since your flight is at 7:50 a.m., the Resort Airline Check-In desk will not be open in time to check you in for your flight. You will need to plan on bringing your luggage with you on Disney's Magical Express and using the airport check-in counters for your flight. I have done this several times when flying an airline that does not participate in Resort Airline Check-In and I have still had wonderful experiences getting to the airport using Disney's Magical Express.
