Hello Josette and welcome to planDisney.
Thank you for bringing such an important
Disability Access Service (DAS) question to us here at planDisney. The magic is calling, which makes it all the more meaningful that Guests with
disabilities are fully supported as they and their dear families plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
I think it's such a wonderful improvement that Guests visiting the Disney Theme Parks from November 1st, 2021 will be able to
Pre-register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) up to 30 days ahead of time or, no less than 2 days before arrival. Guests can either speak in person with a Cast Member at Guest Relations close by the main entrance of a Disney Theme Park or engage in a virtual live video chat with a Cast Member!
On your behalf Josette, I've undertaken a little research and I'm happy to share that at present
Guests are able to request a live video chat via a link within this webpage for times between 7 AM until 10 PM ET. As you will imagine, this new and helpful service has been hugely in demand by Guests, which might explain why you've been experiencing difficulties in snagging a spot.
It looks like your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is right around the river bend on 30th October, so, therefore, my best advice would be to aim to be ready to log in to your
My Disney Experience account on a desktop computer at 7 AM ET for the next couple of days prior to your arrival. Remember, this must be no later than 2 days prior to your arrival!
With just a little faith, trust, and pixie dust you should soon be all
pre-registered (for November 1st, 2021, and for the remainder of your visit) for the Disability Access Service (DAS), if not, then you can still register in person at Guest Relations upon arrival to a Theme Park the most magical place on earth.
Josette, all that remains is for me and everyone here at planDisney to wish you what's sure to be a spooktacular Halloween-time visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
