Hi there, Jihye!
Oh no. I’m sorry about the quarantine. I hope you fare well as you work through that.
Yes, you may change your
theme park reservation, as long as there is
availability and your
theme park ticket is valid on the new date. If you are using a 1-day ticket, note that the new date selected must be the same or lower
ticket tier.
To change a theme park reservation, open the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page. You can access that page from the “Ticket and Reservation Details” link under the “My Disneyland” menu on the Disneyland Resort website. You can also find that page from within the
Disneyland mobile app. Starting in the ☰ feature menu, tap the “Future Plans” tile then tap your park reservation to open the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page. On that page, find your reservation and tap the “Cancel Reservation” link. You will then select which ticket or tickets to include in canceling the reservation and then verify your selection. Once you have canceled the reservation, return to the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to book a new reservation. After that, your new reservation will show up on the “Future Plans” screen of the mobile app.
Tony’s Tip: If you are using a 1-day ticket, you will find that the ticket is not valid for booking a park reservation on dates of higher tiers. One way to deal with that is to cancel your existing park reservation and then visit the ticket booths in person to first upgrade your theme park ticket before making a new reservation with the new park ticket. But if you are worried about park reservations running out before you get a chance to visit the ticket booths, you may
purchase a new ticket and book a reservation for the new date. Normally, park tickets are non-refundable. But in the case of needing to upgrade a ticket before arriving at the Disneyland Resort, the Cast Members may be able to cancel a wholly unused ticket and provide a refund when given evidence that a replacement ticket of higher value has already been purchased. Also, unused park tickets may be used at a future date until the ticket expiration date. Even the
value of expired tickets may be applied toward the purchase price of a new ticket.
I’m sorry you have to delay your visit to the Disneyland Resort, Jihye. But don’t worry, there are still plenty of
must-do activities to enjoy when you arrive. I hope you have a magical time!
