Hi there, would like to know if we have to carry folded up strollers with us on the Disney buses or can they be stored under the bus? This will help us decide which strollers to bring. Travelling with 7 month old and almost 3 year old, arriving Jan 31.

Melissa this is always a tough decision.  All strollers must be folded up and locked when using any of the Disney bus transportation. This will also be the case when using some of the boats. The larger boats still allow strollers to be open but the smaller shuttle type require them as well as wheel chairs to be closed and folded.

There is no storage under a bus so it needs to be folded and handled by you. I have often seen many parents struggling with this as they keep their hands on their children, try to fold the stroller, while also taking out the many bags they stored underneath it during the day. My motto for families is to travel light and as easy as possible. If you really run into an emergency and need something while you are at the park you can find it there!  Yes, we sometimes came back with a few extra Mickey sweatshirts but it made life easier then trying to bring it all for a trip to a park!

I noted that your youngest is under one year and will say that the strollers that can be rented in the parks are not conducive to this age as they are hard plastic.  You can buy simple umbrella strollers that have covers at almost any resort and park gift store for about $55.

I know the decision is not an easy one but it is best to plan ahead and not be surprised once you arrive!
