Ahoy, Gail!
We welcome you aboard and are so happy to help you as you approach your Disney cruise sail date!
Sorry to say, but Disney Cruise Line does not release the current capacity numbers, so I have no way of knowing what they are. And I would have to borrow Madame Leota’s crystal ball (from the Haunted Mansion) in order to know what Disney Cruise Line capacity would be in the future for your April voyage!
Based on everything I am seeing, the
Disney ships have not been at full capacity. I get the sense that the Guest to crew ratio is really small, translating into a lot of positive interactions and attention from those Cast Members. It definitely felt that way last month on our 3-night sailing to The Bahamas.
I know that numbers are being shared online by Guests that already sailed about how many were on their particular cruise. You might also get a sense of it yourself by doing some sleuthing on the
Disney Cruise Line website to see how many staterooms are available as it gets closer to your sail date. Sneaky, huh?
I sure hope that 2022 brings more normalcy and more Guests onboard because Disney Cruise Line is doing an exceptional job in keeping the health and safety of Guests and the crew as its highest priority. I was so impressed by the measures that were implemented on my
Disney Dream sailing in November and expect nothing less when I sail again with Captain Mickey later this month! Hope that shows you the confidence level that I have with everything being done!
We are counting on you to come back to planDisney if you have more planning questions. We’d love to work on that with you! Especially as you get into the details of all your voyage, like
Port Adventures,
Senses Spa and Salon bookings, and making dining plans for
Palo.
Bon Voyage!
Sherry
