I know that you cannot wear a mask during oogie boogie bash but are we allowed still bring it in anyway but not worn on our faces, maybe wear it as a necklace instead, or attached to costumes somehow? Please let me know if that would be allowed.

    Hey there Candice,

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear you got tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party! I'm excited to attend this year as well with my son.

There is a really helpful Dress Code FAQ page that covers the guidelines for special events like Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. According to the rules for Guests ages 14 and older, it says "Masks of any kind may not be worn, except for medical purposes."

Your question gives a lot of wiggle room on how you might try to add a mask as part of your costume so I ended up speaking with a Cast Member to ask. The recommendation she gave me is to not bring any kind of mask as you might not be allowed to bring it in. If you ended up trying to incorporate it into your costume in a different way, just know that it may not be allowed in and that it is ultimately up to the discretion of the Cast Members at the security check-in.

There will be so many fun things to do and see while you're at this special event, but if you want the frightful fun to continue then check out the new Halloween brunch and dinner offerings that were just added to Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel!

I hope you have a fantastic time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, Candice - thanks again for your question!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
