I know that the Candlelight Processional is usually the first weekend in December. We were hoping to pay for good parade seating on our visit to see the Holiday parade. Is the parade cancelled for the day when the ceremony is taking place at Disneyland?

    Season’s greetings, Jennifer!

You are going to have a wonderful time at the Merriest Place on Earth! And preferred viewing for A Christmas Fantasy Parade sounds extra merry! About four to six weeks before your visit to the Disneyland Resort, the entertainment schedule will start to show events on your preferred days. Although the availability of entertainment and attractions is subject to change, I don’t believe the parade will conflict between with the Candlelight Ceremony and Processional. In years past, the parade schedule has simply been shifted to an earlier time on those dates. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disneyland Resort calendar and the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates.

Celebrating the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is my favorite thing to do. I highly recommend the "Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort" Guided Tour. Besides heartwarming stories and delicious holiday treats, this amazing guided tour includes reserved seating for A Christmas Fantasy Parade! My family and I loved experiencing this tour and appreciated the hospitality and warmth of our fantastic tour guides and hosts.

    Happy Holidays, Jennifer!
