    Taylor from FL Asked

I know Cali residents and military stationed in So Cal can go to the parks with reservations. The utility bill and lease is in my husbands name. As a military spouse can I go to Disney without him? Can my mother who lives with us? We don’t have CA licenses

    Hello, Taylor!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are honored to answer your question regarding your next visit to the Disneyland Resort! It is also an HONOR and privilege to serve a family who serves our country! Thank you so much for everything!

All guests purchasing Disneyland Theme Park Tickets and making a Disneyland Theme Park Reservation will be required to make it through their My Disneyland Account, which is tied to their address. Also, when a guest makes a Disneyland Theme Park reservation, they will be required to certify that they are a California resident. These will be the two main ways to prove if a guest is a California resident. Since your family is currently stationed in California, I would make sure the address on your My Disneyland account reflects where you are currently living. I also talked to a very helpful Cast Member, and she told me that a form of identification MAY be checked at the gate. My recommendation would be for you to bring a copy of your husband's Military ID and have ready to prove your current California residence.

As more and more TIGGER-ific information is shared about the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, I would highly recommend following Disneyland on all of its social media channels and subscribing to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
